“ Loved the Ahi poke (both spicy and regular). Salmon poke tasted a metallic and tako poke was a bit tough. Great operation and service. ”
“ Tucked away in charming Koloa town, Koloa Fish Market is a small gem that's earned a big reputation. It’s a must-visit stop for tourists seeking authentic island flavors. The menu is packed with Hawaiian classics—poke bowls , calamari , and kalua pig —all done right. The tuna poke bowl, in particular, is a standout: ultra-fresh, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. Don’t be fooled by the size of the container—the poke portions are generous and filling. You’ll walk away full, happy, and possibly dreaming of your next visit. Interestingly, a visit here might just give you a new appreciation for the humble Costco tuna poke. While Koloa Fish Market sets a high bar, the warehouse version holds up surprisingly well for a quick fix—just a notch below, yet close in taste and quality. Heads-up: there are no tables inside, so it’s mainly a grab-and-go spot. Perfect for picking up a plate and heading to a nearby beach or shaded park to dig in. Be prepared for limited parking especially during peak hours—but the food makes the effort well worth it. If you're craving no-frills, top-notch Hawaiian eats, this little fish shop more than delivers. ”
“ Poke absolutely lives up to the hype. It’s a chaotic energy around lunch time and can be a bit of a wait, but totally worth it. Selection was awesome and fresh, including delicious and interesting sides. Medium comes in quite a small container but it was very filling for lunch ”
“ I had someone from Koloa tell me that this place has the best fish on the island. I was thinking that he may be biased so I had to try it out myself. Growing up on O’ahu where I’ve had poke often. Yup I have to say that This place, The hype is real. They use fresh High quality Poke. I always kinda judge poke by the way businesses make their Limu (seaweed) poke (similar to this is their Maui onion and seaweed Poke). Usually a lot of Poke quality can be masked by spicy mayo or soy sauce/shoyu, which usually tastes the same. But their Maui Onion is “off the hook” by slang terms or “supa Ono” by local terms, or delicious if you want the English saying. Their spam Musubi made me feel nostalgic. Not all musubis taste the same btw. It was like it took me back when I eating Musubi growing up. Their service is efficient and quick to the point. I’ve had different poke bowls around the island and I’d say this place serves legit and delicious ones. I’d come back definitely. But hey, it’s just my opinion. To each his own. ”
“ FOOD- Best poke in Kauai, this place lives up to its hype. Medium portion comes in small box (smaller than you would normally expect, but enough for 1 person). We had the poke bowl and pork plate and both were delicious and flavorful SERVICE- Fairly quick, line moves quick, hard-working staff PARKING- It has free parking to the side of the building. Many customers were eating on the veranda just outside but we took our food to the nearby Anne Knudsen Park to enjoy which has a public toilet as well. ”
“ Don’t miss it... very fresh super tasty... one of the best places to have lunch. We even ordered takeout for dinner too. They have great daily specials, bentos and best of the best poke bowls.. variety of marinades were wonderful. All fish is fresh... ”
“ Best poke I had in Kauai!! And I went to SEVERAL places! It was so fresh, perfect portion size, easy to navigate and I liked the variety! Definitely must stop here if you like poke! Perfect to take to the beach, or they have little rails out front on the patio to enjoy there. ”

It’s a small spot with limited seating, so grab your food and head to the beach for the ultimate experience. Definitely a must-try when in Kauai! ”
